I'm trying to figure out my excess on the annual multi-trip travel policy. Could you explain the medical excess clause?
Aoibhe
On your annual multi-trip travel policy, the medical excess works in two stages.

First, a fixed excess of €75 applies to any single medical claim[L142]. That figure is per insured person, per claim event — so a family of three on the same policy would have three separate excesses if more than one of you needed treatment.

Second, certain pre-existing conditions carry an additional medical excess of €150[L146] on top of the standard €75. Pre-existing conditions are those declared at inception or on any subsequent renewal — your declaration on file lists none, so the additional €150 does not currently apply[L148].

For non-medical claims (cancellation, lost baggage), the excess is €50 per claim, separate from the medical excess.
